The 3M™ Chemical Mask 4279+ is our maintenance-free, hybrid half-face mask that can be used until it is damaged, clogged, or saturated. It features dual inhalation valves, multi-layer carbon filters, and a low-resistance exhalation valve to make breathing more comfortable.
Use the 3M™ Chemical Mask 4279+ for protection and easier breathing when using herbicides or pesticides, cleaning with chemicals, or handling solvent-based paints. Our maintenance-free, reusable half-face dust mask is ready for use and can be used multiple times, or until it is damaged, the particle filters become clogged or the gas filters become saturated. It is suitable for protection during DIY work in the home and garden and can contribute to ABEK1† and P3 protection against organic and inorganic vapors, acid gases, ammonia and derivatives thereof, as well as P3 protection against high concentrations of particulate matter and oil- or water-containing mists. Because it is equipped with double inhalation valves, large multi-layer carbon filters, and a low-resistance exhalation valve, breathing is more comfortable and breathing resistance is lower. It has been tested and approved in accordance with European standards and is compatible with 3M† eye† and hearing protection.
