- 3M™ PELTOR™ X4 Earmuffs are our lightweight and slim hearing protectors with innovative foam ear cups and spacers to increase attenuation and protect against low frequencies. Available as a headband, helmet-mounted, and neckband. The headband model features an electrically insulated, double headband that reduces heat build-up on the head. Depending on the wearer's preference or the application need, the helmet-mounted versions are available in a non-conductive, electrically insulated version or with robust metal arms.
- For high-quality hearing protection against medium to high noise levels, use 3M™ PELTOR™ X4 Earmuffs. 3M PELTOR X4 Earmuffs are conspicuously bright green in color, so you can easily find the right one. you can choose a protection level from the X-series. Our earmuffs combine 3M's legendary knowledge of hearing protection with advanced technology and feature a specially designed spacer and ear cushion technology that improve noise reduction without unnecessary bulk and weight. This means the X4 is lightweight and even more streamlined compared to other high-attenuation earmuffs, while offering up to 32 dB of noise reduction. The headband model features an electrically insulated, double headband that helps reduce heat buildup on the head. The stainless steel wire, coated with plastic, makes the headband the most robust 3M has to offer. The headband is both strong and comfortable because the flat, wide headband has a soft plastic coating that provides stable pressure on the top of the head. No exposed metal means the product is 'dielectric' and offers electrical resistance for applications with a risk of sparks or charge. Carefully molded sliders ensure the earmuffs can be easily adjusted to the head. The wide soft foam ear cushions ensure that workers remain comfortable, while the flat shells offer better compatibility with other safety equipment. To offer a product that meets the requirements of the task or the user's preferences, the helmet-mounted version is available as P5 with the same non-conductive properties as the headband model. For applications that do not require electrical insulation, the P3 model with helmet-mounted and neckband is available. The foam pads and inserts, available as hygiene kits, are easy to replace if they become worn or damaged, extending the product's lifespan.
