CMT Conversion cutter with end guide 9.5 x 25.4 mm shank 8 mm
Conversion cutter with end guide bearing
Special features
- To simplify the conversion process in the most difficult cases, we have designed a series of truly indispensable cutters.
- The sizes we have produced meet all requirements.
- These cutters with a tungsten-carbonide coating can be used for precision work on laminates or for fast profile work.
- Suggestions: These cutters are ideal for achieving continuous machining on wood.
- Using a cutter with straight cutting tips ø 13mm (711.130.11), create a channel approx. 5 mm deep on the edge of the wood piece where you want to perform the continuous machining.
- With a wood drill ø 13mm (517.130.31) drill a hole in one end of the channel that runs through the piece of wood.
- The piece is then turned over to finish the machining.
- Use a ø 12.7 mm outrigger with a cutting length slightly greater than the thickness of the molding, while using the guide bearing to follow the path of the channel followed from the opposite side of the wood.
