- The red component ensures a firm grip in all building materials. Thus, the DuoSeal achieves the same load ratings as conventional nylon plugs. The included stainless steel screw is perfectly suitable for installation in wet areas and prevents rust formation. The soft plastic rim completely seals the drill hole and adapts flexibly to the shape of the attachment. The DuoSeal meets the highest water exposure class according to DIN 18534. The DuoSeal is only suitable for use in tiled surfaces and can only be installed using the through-hole method. A (diamond) tile drill must be used to drill the hole. The DuoSeal can easily be installed by hand. The collar prevents the plug from being inserted too deeply and also completely seals the drill hole. Depending on the building material, the red component automatically activates the optimal anchoring principle (spreading, folding, knotting), thereby forming a strong fastening. By tightening the screw, the soft grey component is pressed against the wall of the drill hole, completely sealing it. The included stainless steel screw with TX drive is ideal for use in wet areas. The ribs in the shaft compensate for irregularities in the drill hole, ensuring the sealing function is guaranteed even with an imperfect drill hole.
