Red for wood
For sanding all types of untreated wood, the HiKOKI range offers a wide selection of red sandpaper. Made from thick paper, coated with high-quality resin-bonded aluminium oxide grains. The grains are closed-bonded using a phenolic resin, providing excellent heat resistance. The sanding properties are maintained during use due to the high flexibility and tensile strength of the material. This manufacturing method prevents the paper from clogging during use, ensuring material removal remains at a consistent level for longer. The evenly distributed grains guarantee a balanced removal depth, preventing grooves. All these properties result in time savings through a high-quality finish, and post-treatment is kept to a minimum. These benefits specifically relate to woodworking and metalworking; for lacquered and painted surfaces, white sandpaper is recommended.
