HiKOKI's SDS-Max 4-cutter hammer drills are robust, designed for the demanding end user. For instance, they utilize the same symmetrical 4-turn helix and the excellent carbide insert with high-performance cutting edges. In this series of drills, the carbide insert is no longer cross-shaped; instead, the 4-cutter is formed by a main plate with two carbide side plates at a 90° angle. The unique design of the drill tip prevents the drill from jamming when hitting rebar. An additional advantage of the carbide inserts is the built-in wear indicator, allowing the drill to be replaced in a timely manner. This ensures constant and reliable tolerances of the drilled hole, ultimately enabling a perfect fit of the anchor.
