The main advantage of the new "upright" class of hot water high-pressure cleaners is the horizontal machine concept. This ensures a low weight and compact dimensions, allowing them to be loaded and transported without difficulty. They can also be transported in a vertical position in a station wagon. Thanks to their compact design, these devices take up a minimum amount of storage space when not in use. The large wheels and ergonomic push/pull handle ensure excellent maneuverability and mobility, even on difficult terrain. The axial high-pressure pump is equipped with three plungers made of hardened stainless steel and a brass cylinder head. A pressure switch automatically switches off the machine when the hand spray gun is closed. This relieves pressure on the components and extends their service life. The high-pressure pump, the burner fan, and the heating oil pump are driven by an electric motor and together form a drive module. This principle ensures not only for a very compact assembly and high output, but also makes the devices particularly reliable. The characteristics of Kärcher's proven boiler technology are high performance in a confined space and full compliance with legal emission standards.
