- LOCTITE® 660 is an anaerobic cylindrical fastener with the following properties:
- High-strength locking bond: It offers a strong locking that prevents fitting parts from coming loose due to shocks and vibrations, thereby improving the stability of the assembly.
- Good gap-filling properties: It has been specially developed to fill gaps between cylindrical parts without the need for rework. This is useful for repairs where components are worn and space has developed between the parts.
- Anaerobic curing: Just like LOCTITE® 515, LOCTITE® 660 cures in the absence of air between closely fitting metal surfaces. This ensures a strong bond and prevents leakage.
- Excellent curing characteristics: The product has a reliable curing time and offers consistency in performance.
- Wide range of applications: LOCTITE® 660 is suitable for use with shims and ideal for repairing worn parts such as seats, keys, splines, bearings, or taps.
- With the 660, LOCTITE® offers a reliable solution for assembling and repairing cylindrical fitting parts, particularly in situations where clearances need to be filled and where rework is not feasible or desirable.
