Makita D-28092 Flap Sanding Disc 125 mm K60
Special features
- Flap sanding discs feature flaps consisting of a fiber backing and grains
- These are mounted on a disc with a glass fiber backing
- Because the disc is constructed from flaps, it is more resilient than a sanding disc and less aggressive to the material being worked on
- Particularly suitable for sanding weld seams
- Grain types: Aluminum oxide [A]: Highly suitable for steel. Suitable for aluminum, non-ferrous metals, and plastics
- Zircon oxide [Z]: Highly suitable for stainless steel. Suitable for steel, aluminum, and non-ferrous metals
- Ceramic aluminum oxide [Ce]: Highly suitable for stainless steel. Suitable for steel, aluminium, and non-ferrous metals
- Silicon carbide [S]: Highly suitable for mortar and stone.
- Disc shape: Use flat discs for surface grinding. Position them at an angle of 0-15° to the material for optimal use.
- Use angled discs for sanding welds, grinding chamfers, and deburring. Position them at an angle of 10-25° to the material for optimal use.
- Grit: 36/40: Weld processing and chamfers.
- 60: Weld processing, chamfers, deburring, and surface grinding.
- 80: Deburring and surface grinding.
- 120: Flat sanding.
