The RIDGID SeeSnake® microDRAIN APX™ with TruSense is the perfect inspection camera for narrow pipes and tubes with sharp bends. Thanks to the highly flexible push cable and the compact camera head, the system is ideally suited for inspecting small-diameter pipes, P-drains, and bends with a small radius—places where other systems often fall short. The camera is equipped with advanced features such as TruSense technology and automatic image rotation, ensuring clear images and real-time information on the viewing angle and image orientation on the screen. Furthermore, the microDRAIN APX is compatible with the CSx Via™ as standard and offers improved stability during use.
Special features
- The extremely flexible push cable navigates effortlessly through tight bends and small-diameter pipes, including multiple 90° bends in most 1.5" (40 mm) drain pipes.
- The APX camera reels are equipped with TruSense technology, including an HDR image sensor for superior image quality and an integrated TiltSense tilt sensor for accurate camera angle information.
- The camera image rotates automatically, without moving parts, when connected to a CSx monitor via Wi-Fi, ensuring always correct image orientation.
- Thanks to its lightweight and compact design, which is 50% smaller than commonly used inspection systems, the system is easy to transport and store in a commercial vehicle.
- The integrated stand offers improved ergonomics and can be positioned upright or at a 45° angle for an optimal viewing position when used with the CSx Via monitor.
- The hardened stainless steel camera head with spring construction guarantees a long service life and reliable performance, even under harsh conditions.
- Powerful, durable LEDs with high light output ensure clear visibility and accurate color reproduction in the pipe.
- Equipped with an integrated 512 Hz probe, allowing pipes to be easily detected and located.
