A slow-rotating cutter is responsible for the low noise level. Instead of fast-rotating blades, the GS60 garden shredder features a cutting roller that rotates 100 times slower than a blade disc and crushes the cut material. This breaks down the wood fibers, making them particularly suitable for composting. The chopping and crushing system can be adjusted from the outside if the branches are no longer being cut cleanly. If the GS50 garden shredder becomes clogged, the direction of rotation of the roller can be reversed. Thanks to this automatic reversal function, blockages in the cutting mechanism of the garden shredder can be cleared quickly and easily. The GS60 roller shredder is particularly suitable for harder types of wood such as branches, tree clippings, and brushwood with a maximum branch thickness of 45 mm. The tamper is designed to increase safety when working with the garden shredder. Shredded material is collected in a 60-liter container. Therefore, the shredded material no longer needs to be gathered together. This is often an intensive and time-consuming job. The large wheels ensure that the garden shredder can be easily moved. This means that the garden shredder can be used anywhere in the garden where there is a power connection nearby. Instead of dragging bulky branches through the garden, simply move the shredder to the right spot.
