Trotec 1160000250 B 250 Humidifier
Description
The B 250 is a fully electronically controlled humidifier with an air filter and variable airflow direction – it operates according to the cold evaporation principle: air is drawn in through a filter, cleaned, and passed through a rotating damp filter disc.
- Here it absorbs the necessary moisture, which is then released into the room air evenly and without condensation.
humidity control
- The current relative humidity is displayed via an electronic sensor: simply save the desired humidity value in the device and the B 250 takes over control independently.
keyboard lock
- To the To protect the humidifier against unauthorized access, the entrance can be blocked with a key combination.
Water level indicator
- The control panel provides information about the water level
- If there is no more water in the tank, the B 250 switches off automatically and a flashing light indicates that water needs to be refilled.
Optional equipment B 250
Automatic water supply, water monitor, safety pressure hose
Practical benefits B 250
- Fully electronic control
- Clear control panel with displays for current and set RH% value, water level, and fan speed
- Air purification through separate filter in the intake area
- 2-stage fan and automatic function
- Variable airflow direction
Increasing humidity to 50% reduces the risk of virus transmission
- Specialists have evaluated research results regarding the resistance of viruses (e.g.
- B
- SARS-CoV, MERS-CoV or SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19)) based on humidity and temperature
- It turned out that only low temperatures and low humidity allow the virus to survive for a long time
- Even at average temperatures of 20-30 °C, the survival times of the viruses were still long - but only if the air was simultaneously very dry
- And very high temperatures above the 30 °C inactivates coronaviruses
- This means that we provide the virus with ideal climatic conditions in our buildings at temperatures between 20 and 24 degrees and a humidity of 20 to a maximum of 40%.
- Or simply not!
- Specialists emphasize that we can reduce the risk of infection by increasing the humidity in buildings.
- Increasing humidity through humidification to approximately 50% leads to a reduction in the chance of transmission. Air humidification can be used in private and professional environments.
- Moreover, humidified air improves respiratory defenses through more efficient cleansing of the airways and improved immunity.
