Trotec 118000090 Airozon® 14 ECO ozone generator
Description
The Airozon® 14 ECO creates a germ-free interior with the scent of fresh air
- Whether it concerns hotel and room rentals, property management, transport companies, bus and taxi companies, car dealerships, car rental companies, or boat rental companies – an ozone generator like the Airozon® 14 ECO from Trotec must be an integral part of the cleaning of the company's machinery in all these businesses.
- With a two-stage adjustable ozone output and a timer function for pre-selecting treatment times between 0 and 120 minutes, the Airozon® 14 ECO effectively neutralizes odors in rooms or vehicles, for example, and disinfects indoor air and surfaces. Overnight guests and passengers will certainly appreciate this hygiene service with the odor-free action of fresh air.
- In addition to effectively removing unpleasant odors from textiles, upholstery, covers, curtains, or wallpaper—such as waste odors, body odors, smoke odors, pet and farm animal odors, or urine—ozone treatment with the Airozon® 14 ECO also enables the elimination of microorganisms such as bacteria, mold spores, or viruses on surfaces and in the air.
Airozon® 14 ECO is very easy to use and offers a large number of benefits, especially compared to conventional cleaning methods
- Automated treatment operation without the need for personnel
- Very time-saving procedure
- Also suitable for unplanned rapid deployments
- Works even in hard-to-reach places that are often not mechanically accessible
- Can be used practically at any desired location - a power outlet is sufficient
- Residue-free disinfection and odor removal without chemicals
The operating principle of the Airozon® ozone generators
- 1 The generators of the Airozon® series use the oxygen present in the ambient air as a molecular compound for ozonization.
- 2 The ambient air is drawn into the ozone generator and subjected to an electrical discharge process in the device, after which the biatomic oxygen molecule is split by the supplied energy into two individual oxygen atoms as free radicals.
- 3 The atomic oxygen recombines (A) with an oxygen molecule to form ozone form.
- 4 Ozone is a very strong oxidizing agent with a high reaction potential and is therefore an effective reagent for the breakdown of noxious substances in the ambient air.
- The radicals bound in the ozone molecule are released from the molecular compound (B) and react with all substances in the ambient air, even if they are present only in very low concentrations.
- This oxidative breakdown of airborne and stationary pollutants (e.g.
- B. in the floor, wall, ceiling) causes odor neutralization and sterilization by killing viruses, bacteria, fungi, and carcinogenic and allergenic microorganisms.
- 5 Through the oxidation of oxygen atoms with reactants, the ozone molecules are converted into oxygen molecules.
- 6 Due to their metastable compound, non-oxidized ozone molecules also decompose after a returns to oxygen for a certain period of time without leaving behind harmful residues
- Indoors, the half-life of ozone is usually in the range of 30 to 60 minutes under normal conditions, which means that the ozone concentration in indoor air naturally decreases by at least half per hour.
